Alexandria over Palermo BOX SCOREAnother monster game from MUJ. Palermo really didn't have anyone to cover him so Muj took advantage of that. Palermo kept it close throughout the entire especially in the second half, but just couldn't find the hot streak that they needed. Alexandria struggled against Palermo's size but made it up in speed. Scott/Matt (Palermo) were driving to the hole and getting fouled a lot. Solid team game from Alexandria.

Bukhara over Sarajevo:
Sarajevo was missing Sami and Maher (not sure if anyone else was missing), but they brought in a D1 caliber guard in Brandon Bowen. Bukhara seemed to have their full squad, at least the big three were there (Afay, Mustafa, Rajab). Bukhara took an 18-2 lead and never looked back. Faraz hurt himself early in the second half (get well soon) so Sarajevo was playing with 4 for part of the game but it really didn't matter if they had 4 or 8 Bukhara is just a better team.

Islamabad over Jerusalem BOX SCOREGame started off sloppy. Missed layups, bad passes, etc. Game was tied at the half. 2 minutes left in the game, Islamabad starts to increase the lead. Jerusalem comes back with some steals and strong finishes and they come to within 2 points and all the momentum on their side. A player on Jerusalem steps over the line while Islamabad is inbounding and gets a technical. They hit both shots and get the ball. Up 4, Islamabad turns the ball over and Jerusalem scores. Up 2, Islamabad misses, Steve drives and gets fouled with 0.0 seconds left. Everyone gets off the court, while Steve needs to hit both FTs to go into OT. He misses the first one. GAME OVER!

Baghdad over Lagos
Close game throughout until the last few minutes where Bahgdad pulled away. Baghdad is a hard nosed team that plays a very disciplined zone. You need to keep moving the ball around and attack their zone, something that Lagos failed to do. Bagdad also hit a lot of tough shots and just played harder. They were the better team yesterday.
