Kabul is riding the undefeated streak into the finals. We all know about the undefeated curse. No undefeated team has ever won it all. A tougher matchup for Kabul as they are down 2 of their bigger/taller starters. They still have speed and they still have Hamza! Smart move movement and hitting open shots can help them bring home the title.

Lahore is old and old means experienced. They manhandled Mombasa last week. They have the size and need to use it to their advantage. They won’t be able to keep up with the speed of Kabul so they’ll probably play a lot of half court sets.

They split their regular season games. Both games were by 3 points. Cordoba has never lost a Championship game in MB (2-0). They play team ball, hit their shots, and play solid defense. Medina is led by Mo Abdelhadi, who does not like to lose. He has only lost a total of 4 games in his MB career. Mo has bigs to surround him and guards to run with him. Antoine and Mustafa are the 1 and 2 leading 3pt shooters in the league. This could be a high scoring game.

#1 Bukhara vs #2 Baghdad

First time around, Bukhara beat Baghdad by 10 points. Baghdad struggled to score. Bukhara can have a high power offense (at times) and that is something Baghdad lacks. Baghdad will need to play 110% defense this game. Letting Moose or Afay get in rhythm will ruin their chance at the title. Key to this game: HOW MOOSE, AFAY, AND RAJAB WILL PERFORM AFTER PLAYING THEIR D1 CHAMPIONSHIP? Will they be tired or will they be nicely warmed up? Should be an interesting game!
