Will work on this soon. Tried to do rankings but every team is now on an equal level, in my opinion. I think this will be a tough season. No team will go better than 7-2 in the regular season.

Teams in alphabetical order:

Alexandria - Aymen
This team returns Aymen and Frank. They added their guest, Daryl, fulltime. Aymen/Daryl will become a top big man duo. They can grab boards, run the court, and hit jumpers. Frank can run this offense. Not sure who the others are but these guys can turn into a complete team.

Baghdad - Omar C
Omar brings back another, if not even more, solid team. Pick up of Anas and Brandon were huge. Anas, Jaber, and Muhannad is a nice trio. Brandon can probably lock down anyone in the league when he tries. Missing Dola won't matter when Brandon's around.

Bukhara - Mustafa
The return of Afay. They are going to go from 1-6 last season, to probably 6-2 this season.

Damascus - Saad
Damascus is coming back with the same squad. Look for them to gain more chemistry and be one of the top teams again. Mike/Mo/Andre/Faizan is a top 4 to match up against.

Islamabad - Omar A
They were a couple steps away from a championship last season. They return the same squad with Arkan back in the mix. They may not score a lot, but they'll make sure they won't let you score either. A family team that plays harder than any other team. If they become better shooters they can win it all.

Jeddah - Walter
They had a great first season and they will have an even better season this year. Rob is a top guard in this league. Leave him open and he'll hit all the 3s you give him. They are a tall team that won't lose the rebound battle. If their shot is falling, they won't lose.

Jerusalem - Firass
Last season, the usual outcome. This season they add Almar. If you forgot Almar, go look at his previous stats. He could be the missing piece they've needed all along. If they do well in the regular season, they'll go deep into the playoffs.

Sarajevo - Qasim
They return 4 players and add a new 4 in Paul, Jibran, Zach, and Salman. Qasim just added reinforcement to Farhad by adding Paul. With Paul in the mix Farhad can focus even more on offense. All-around maybe the top team. If they can all show up and work together, they will do some damage.

Timbuktu - Idris
Another team that had a tough season in Springball. This time around they add Mohammad. Another big body will help Brian. In any case, just give the ball to Ted and let him do his thing.

Tripoli - Edriss
The defending champs, or some of the defending champs. They only return 3 players from last season. They add solid bigs in Jason and Yaqoub. They add height with newcomer Stephen. It'll be an interesting season for these guys. Let's not forget thou, they still have Mujtaba.

Updated.

If any captains want to write something about their team, please do. The more info the better.

When will the rosters be uploaded onto the site? And the when will the schedule be out?

I would like to appreciate Ed and the rest of the admins on organizing this league. Although it may have its shortcomings, it's a great league. Those who have played in other leagues can testify to that.

I pray and hope for another (healthy and injury-free) season.

I glanced at the rosters while approving the teams. It seems like every team improved. Bukhara, Damascus and Islamabad are the only teams without significant additions. However, Islamabad will automatically get better due to their experience from last season, and because they're such a young team, with every season they will get better. Bukhara brings back the same team as 2 seasons ago, when they lost in the finals, and of course Damascus will improve its chemistry.

Baghdad brings back some major pieces from their 2014 championship as well as adding some size. They're always solid. Jeddah was a breakout team last season and added 2 6-footers. Should be a nightmare on the glass. Sarajevo removes some pieces and adds some. From what Ed wrote they seem like one of the most talented teams.

Jerusalem had probably the best individual talent last season, and surround him with other solid players. They should be better this season. I don't really know anybody on Alexandria, but hopefully they can have more chemistry than they did last season. Their captain is a great player. And Tripoli are perennial studs who are threats to win it all.
