Player of the week should be someone that had a superb performance and as a result, helped his team win, not lose. Being player of the week and losing defeats the purpose of being the player of the week. You score 60 points but if what about your defense? Are you helping your team win and playing good defense? Let's take that into consideration please.

Did you watch the game?

Obviously his performance was very impressive, but I would think that players of the week are awarded to those who win, no? I could be wrong or maybe this was just an exception.

Generally speaking, Player of the Week is given out to the best performance of the week, win or lose, to recognize the individual achievement.

Kareem Salem is ---- the best defensive player of the leageu there's a reason why he averages the most steals. If he wasn't so tired carrying his team every game I'm Sure he'd have more steals. **this post has been edited due to the use of an expletive. Please review our forum rules prior to using the forums. Congrats to Ed and Mo for strong games last week!
Kareem's play puts him in position for top defensive player. Ammar Idelbi has to be in the conversation as well - always tops in league for blocks and altered shots. Big man Salman too. How about old man Ed though - 2nd in steals, tied for 1st in blocks and also carrying the offensive load for Fez. Somebody needs to cool him down!! Which team will be able to do that???!!!
