Captain Jay Mustafa will mastermind this team on and off the court and he went with Adeeb as his top choice weapon. This looks like a great fit to take advantage of Adeeb’s athleticism and heat check ability. Moe Raj has always been an effective big and was a great value pick. Moatze + Hossam’s defense, Nour + Azi’s shooting, and X-factor rookie Inayath round out the team.

The scoring ceiling for this team is very high. Ali Suiafan is an efficient machine and Ali Hassan is electric on/off the ball. If Omar Qasem can be involved in the offense and let them attack, they could be cooking. Deek’s defense, Zubair’s shooting, and Ahmad’s size will look to balance it out. Alaa and rookie Efe will play bigger roles, especially with the inevitable absences.

Another dangerous offensive team. Nick can score 10+ on offensive boards alone and Towfeek will get his share on the fast break. Towfeek also gives this team a competitive edge. If the ball moves around well, Omer Marachli can be an elite third option. Splash can do it all, Muntaser will look to break out, Malik gives them size down low, Sube will work off ball, and rookie Ahmad has gotten high praise.

This team could be higher if they gel and we see peak Mahrooz. Regardless, it’s a talented roster. Muhanad will make winning plays and his versatility could be very effective against the different stars the league has to offer. With the frontcourt set, Cairo can mix and match their guards from the speed and shooting of Kareem, Idris, Mustafa, Daniel, Mahadye and rookie Numan.

Jerusalem has a lot of versatility and strong intangibles, if they can be consistent. Omar in space is a game changing scorer and Moayad remains elite as he continues to adapt his game. Deep will be heavily involved but they may need scoring from him. The rest of the team is strategically built out with a rotation of bigs in Ghazi, Ahmad Sehwail and Suf, and guards with Malik and Araiz.

A top tier three level scorer in Mahdy is a great place to start with building this team. Muhammad Assaf has great defensive tools as well and if he’s making a big impact weekly, Beirut can win any game. They have fully leaned into three point shooting with Muhammad Assaf, Moe Rayyan, Ahmad, Ramzy and rookie Yazan. Bigs Himey and Muhammad Saleh balance it out in the frontcourt.

The skillsets of this backcourt look like they fit very well. Anas is efficient around the basket, Derek is a sniper from three, and you can expect Shafic to pull it all together. The three of them can also handle the ball interchangeably which will make the offense dynamic. Khaled, Tamer, and Ammar need to anchor the defense in the paint while Shahaan and Kareem space the floor.

The floor should be well spaced for captain Elias to attack the basket if Kabul can keep defenses moving with the attention they’ll have to pay Jojo and Hassan Farhat on the perimeter. Bilal will provide key spacing which bigs Mustafa Barakat and Adam Shihadeh will look to take advantage of. Rookies Mustafa Sajjad and Adam Natsheh are exciting new talents as well.
