I don't know if anyone in the league can stop Ahmad, but if there is someone it's Patty, if cordoba and damascus meet in the finals that would be a great matchup.

one comment I will make about that game:
it didn't look like (to me at least) granada took advantage of their size on the offensive end, I didn't even know balawal was playing at times, not a good sign. There comes a time where you need to recognize your strengths and exploit the mismatch, having played and beat that team with hassan I speak from experience (down 16 at half time, pounding them downlow in the 2nd half to win). Good effort to both teams, you guys played your butts off.

Patty on Ahmad.... what are you guys talking about man. Hassan smoked Damascus the first game of the season. No one in this league can guard him.

Good effort to both teams, you guys played your butts off. You didnt play the full Cordoba squad. They got all their guys on the court now. But that was a good effort, I left at half of that game thinking the game was over and you guys had no shot. Couldnt believe it when I saw the result. i think it's too tasking personally for anybody in this league to try to cover him the whole game, you really need to send multiple people at him, have 2 or 3 different people cover him over the course of the game, because you get so drained trying to cover him very quickly...

you put your worst defender on Ahmad ..
you cover the rest of the team tight ..
so Ahmad is forced to score every point ..
and hopefully your team offense can score more than Ahmad !!
lol

Man I haven't played with a big man with the skill set of Farhad in muslim competition since the days of Abs Roshan for those of you who may know him. |

yeah man...Abs, Aziz Aseem (if thats who you mean), and some other guys were part of our team back in the late 90s and we have a bunch of wins from that time for tournaments since we didn't have the luxury of leagues like you guys do today. That was a time when we were all a lot quicker, less injured, and I was not as fat...lol |
