That's funny because during my whole existence in MB, I never have rubbed anyone the wrong way, I wasn't even in the same division as you last season. If I did, please clarify how and when I have, and forgive me in advance. I never played in 2008, the stats I pulled up were from 2011 (last year). The stats I am comparing with yours was when I was top scoring option (same role as you), just as you are now and have been since you have started playing in the league. The competition has been more or less the same, year in and year out. If you want to discredit my performance last year because of "very weak competition" how about your performance in D2 last season? LA Fitness pickup games are more competitive then D2 last season. That was the weakest competition we have ever had in MB, you put up 326 shots season total. That's 32 shots per game 38.7% FG and 29% 3 Point FG, just stating facts. Anyway, I never discredited Kazan's win on Thursday. It was a good win, even if they did bring two guests. I never complained once in this whole thread about you abusing guest passes, so I really don't know why you keep bringing it up. Bring Kobe for all I care, at the end of the day guests won't be there for playoffs. um Ali lol... Did I hurt your feelings? Before I say what exactly happened Ali, let me clarify. Rubbing someone the wrong way and Rubbing it in are two completely different things  ... Now If I remember correctly you congratulated me and said "We owned you guys for most of the game" and I came back and said "It only takes 1.3 seconds to own the other team" .... I didn't rub anything in. You were the one who began celebrating 1.3 seconds too early and threw the ball up at the ceiling, when you are the best FT shooter in the league :D LOL and NO Anthony, absolutely no one was High fiving each other because of your injury, I have no clue what you're talking about. I dont know why you keep bringing this up. You werent around this league back then, so how do you know it wasnt competitive. Teams like the Blazers-09 and Medina-10 were stacked and would win this league right now if they got back together. This league wasnt as non-competitive as you think or may have heard it was. Whether you shot back in 2009/2010 or 2012, FG% still matters, and whoever the competition is the ball still has to go through the basket. |

I've only been around MB for 4-5 seasons, but in my opinion thats the best play made in MB history!! We should really contact metuchen and get security tapes of that game. Absolutely amazing. |

i understand u guys needed guests. that is a definite. but ur captain (i use that word loosely) is lying to me, a friend, about who he is bringing because he is so paranoid about winning and us not bringing guests. even with the guys u had minus the guests, it would have been a good game.

I understand and trust me I know how you feel, but don't look into it too much. Yamin is a good guy and I'm sure his intention wasn't to deceive you. I am locking this thread due to immaturity. It's fun to laugh, yea, but what exactly is being accomplished by blatantly attacking other players, captains, or organizers?
If you have a problem with or suggestion for the league, we have a Contact Us form. You can use that by navigating your mouse to the frame on top of the page and sending us a message. Try it, it's not that hard. And if you send a well-articulated and logical suggestion or argument, it WILL be heard.
Hateful comments will not be condoned and rest assured, any more nonsense that spews from anyone's e-mouth will warrant some sort of discipline. Now getting suspended for saying something on the Forum....that's hilarious!
We have been overly lenient with what gets posted, but this is a league built on brotherhood, and not slander, gossip, or any of the other garbage rhetoric that we have seen recently. |
