Week 6 3-3 8

Impressive win against Istanbul this week, much needed heading into the playoffs. Anas Zubi seems to be heating up at the right time. They probably have the toughest week 1 matchup though as they take on Mombasa for a spot in the quarterfinals against Amman. You don’t want to miss this one!

Week 5 2-3 9

Mecca finally breaks their losing streak and gets a win after bullying past Kashgar. A much needed confidence booster for this squad and now they have to prepare to take on a hot Istanbul team in their season finale. Definitely should be a game to keep an eye on as playoff seeding implications are a huge factor this week.

Week 4 1-3 10

Not sure what is going on with this team. Used to be a force to reckon with but have not played like the competitor they once were all season long dropping three straight now. Lucky for them they take on Kashgar next week which comes at a perfect time as they definitely need to catch a break.

Week 3 1-2 8

Better performance than last game but they weren’t able to pull off a win and kept the door open for Beirut who took advantage and took the game. This is not the offense we’ve been accustomed to seeing out of Mecca the past few seasons. Obada Al-Tartir finished with a double double but the team as a whole had another bad shooting percentage. Something needs to change to help this team get back on track. They take on an undefeated Amman squad next game and they are going to have to find a solution to these offensive woes if they want to get the win and get back on track.

Week 2 1-1 6

Not the type of effort I expected to see out of this team versus the defending champs. They looked defeated throughout the course of the game and only managed to put up 38 points on offense, a number Anas is capable of putting up on his own. The schedule doesn’t get any easier with another tough game against Beirut coming up. They need to win this one for their confidence or they’ll have lost back to back games and the panic can begin.

Week 1 1-0 4

Wasn’t the prettiest win this week losing a lead late, but they were able to close Sana’a out in the end. Anas and Malik finished with 24 & 19 respectively but they’re defense is going to have to step it up especially with a big matchup next week against Mombasa. This should also be another fun game to watch at the 12pm prime time slot.

Preseason 0-0 4

An offensive powerhouse for the past few seasons, they return with the same core of players to try to make up for an early playoff exit after also finishing the regular season undefeated. Anas Zubi has shown no mercy to his opponents in the past and will look to continue his offensive dominance come week 1. How many days did we say are left??
