Week 10 7-3 9

The stats confuse me. Mo played and was 1-3? Did he get injured? Is it a mistake? Either way, without Mo and Ameed present and at full strength, this team isn’t going too far. With them on the other hand, they are one of the best teams in MB.

Week 9 7-2 6

Even with 5, Kabul took care of business. Their attendance issue needs to be fixed before playoff time. 5 may be enough to beat a struggling Sana’a team, but deep in the playoffs they don’t want to be in a position where they are playing defense gingerly because they don’t want to foul out and play with 4.

Week 8 6-2 7

Once I saw the double digit loss to Fez, I already knew either Mo or Ameed wasn’t there. Not only did they play with 5, but their best player on the court Ameed fouled out and they were down to 4. I didn’t watch the game so I don’t know if this happened towards the end of the game, but playing with 5 is always a disadvantage. Ameed still managed to drop 31 points, but that wasn’t enough to stop Amir and team. Although Kabul is dropping to 7th, please believe that if both Mo and Ameed are present, this is still a top 3 team in the league.

Week 7 6-1 2

Kabul almost held Palermo to zero scorers in double digits. As per usual, Mo and Ameed did most of the heavy lifting in this gimme game. If there is one area of opportunity, it is their 3 point shooting. They shot just 1-16 (6.3%) from 3 this game, and currently are ranked 26th in the league in that category shooting just 25.3% on the season.

Week 6 5-1 2

I probably shouldn’t assume, but I am going to anyway. There is no way Ameed played and only recorded 1 rebound on the stat sheet, unless he was injured. Mo had to carry this team to victory, with Khalil being his new partner in crime this game. They most likely will not be challenged until the last week of the season when they play Islamabad.

Week 5 4-1 2

Ameed and team took care of business winning by 41 points. Is Mo going to be eligible for playoffs? Half way through the season he only has 2 games played. Regardless of whether he is there or not, this team is scary.

Week 4 3-1 3

You have to be able to field a team to play. Sucks for Granada that we didn’t get to see the potential awesome matchup. Technically they didn’t lose, so it is hard to move them down too much as if they aren’t one of the best teams in MB. Nobody wants to play Kabul.

Week 3 3-0 2

85 points. Sheesh. Mo with 31-8-4-3-2, Ameed with 23-6-6-1. They might be the best 1-2 punch in the league. They did give up 48 points in the second half though. I am sure it was a fast paced game, but they can’t let that happen again.

Week 2 2-0 2

Barely beating Delhi is not impressive at all, but barely beating them with arguably the best player in MB not present is. Ameed carried the load on his shoulders with 23 and 12, and was able to lead Kabul to a win.

Week 1 1-0 4

Mo has found someone to team up with, and his name is Ameed. The definite ROTY candidate put up 25 and 12, while Mo put up 18 and 14. As long as both of them are at every game, this team will stay near the top.

Preseason 0-0 5

Ahmad, Ahmed, Ahmed, Ameed, Ahmad, none of it matters. Mo is back. Any team with that man on it deserves to be high on the ranking list. He is one of the best this league has seen, and hopefully he can return from injury strong.
