WEEK RECORD RANK COMMENTS
Week 7 5-2 8

Winners have 4 in a row prior to Week 7 but they balled out this season. Ali led the way with 17ppg on 49% shooting and the dude is 19 years old! Yaqob had another solid season and newcomer Connor showed flashes of excellence as well. This team’s success will be contingent on the play of their big men. If Jean and Chris can up their production down the stretch, to match that of the guard, nightmare for opposing defenses. Recap: Tripoli is 4-0 when Ali scores 20 + and just 1-2 when he does not.

Week 6 5-1 5

Ali, Ali, Ali! 26 for Mr. Hassan and Yaqob, as they combined for more points than the entire Delhi team. They have the size, shooting and depth. I do not want anything to do with this bunch come playoff time.

Week 5 4-1 7

Perhaps the most surprising of the 4-1 teams. Ali, Chirs and Connor have been balling this year and should keep it up against Delhi this week.

Week 4 3-1 7

Great team effort against an Alexandria team most expected them to defeat. Despite only having 5, they shot better and outrebounded their opponent and made shots when it mattered most. Ali with a game high of 21 points and cousin Yaqob added 15 of his own. Don’t sleep on Tripoli.

Week 3 2-1 9

I want to say they limited Moayad but he had 14 free throw attempts, so I am just going to say they got lucky that Lahore missed 19 times from the charity stripe. Quite game from Ali but fortunately Connor Fox had 17 and 15 in addition to Yaqob going 3-5 from 3-point range. I expect their week 4 matchup to be a good one.

Week 2 1-1 12

Went up against a formidable defensive squad and they were no match from the jump. There is no reason on God’s Green Earth why Ali Hassan only took seven shots. Dude is a Bucket with a capital B. Get him the ball, let him operate and watch what happens.

Week 1 1-0 7

With Ali H being the new heir to Tripoli, he was able to showcase his scoring prowess as did Connor Fox. In addition to Jean and Yaqob handling things in the paint, expect this team to compete again this season.
