Week 7 1-6 13

According to some, I have been harsh on this team but let me plead my case. The core group of this team has been together for several seasons now. And yet every year we get excited by how they start and the growth of Moayad and Mana. Did they have an extremely difficult schedule? Absolutely. But a good would have won at least one of those matchups. To each his own, but if they want to shut me up, now is the time of year to do so. Recap: Career year for Moayad, with 22ppg, 52% from the field with 6 boards and 3 assists. If he can be fully invested for 40 minutes come playoff time, they will be a tough out. It has never been the talent with him but more so the cerebral aspect.

Week 6 1-5 13

No Moayad so you knew they were down 22 points from the start. What looked like such a promising roster, resulted in being the same old, same old. They need some shuffling and another consistent scorer.

Week 5 1-4 13

So much talent yet so disappointing. Moayad, Mana and Hassan should be running laps around most teams. Instead, they settle for 3’s and contested jumpers. I would love to be ahead of the curve and predict them beating Bukhara but let’s not get ahead of ourselves now.

Week 4 1-3 11

After what could have been arguably the worst display of FT shooting since 2014 Deandre Jordan, Moayad went 4-6 from the charity stripe. One of the league’s top guns had 21 points 4 rebounds and 5 assists but he went up against a “complete” Baghdad squad. Moayad has been ballin’ and the 1-3 record doesn’t fall on his shoulders. Mana and Hassan need to be the second and third options, respectively for this team to manufacture some wins. Moayad verse Brandon is going to be a good on

Week 3 1-2 11

You cannot miss 19 free throws as a team and expect to win any games. Simple as that.

Week 2 1-1 7

I wouldn’t stress this loss too much, shot 50% as a team, outrebounded their opponent by 10, just need to tip your cap and move on. Moayad has been one of the league’s premier players thus far and his evolution from “ball hog” to an efficient player who makes good decisions is quite remarkable. I expect more from Omar Mana and if they can get a consistent 10-12 ppg from rookie Hassan Chaabane, they will be in great shape.

Week 1 1-0 4

Beware MB, When Moayad is going downhill, one of the best players in the league. On another note, death taxes and Omar Mana double doubles.
