Week 10 5-5 8

Joe buckets… refusing to miss a 3 off a pick and roll. And Jojo finally stepping up and remembered how to play basketball. This is how this duo was suppose to play all season!! 26 from one end and 16 from the other. Although, their win was way too close for comfort they needed this win to carry into playoffs. I think this team lacks depth, if fursan or ramzy score double digits the game is a shut out. But for this team to carry on I think they need at least 2 other double digit scorers along with Joe buckets. “Nothing matters till playoffs” - Joe Capone, playoffs has come let me see what you were talking about.

Week 9 4-5 10

I know its not 2014 but we’re finally getting some flashbacks of Fursan showing his brothers who’s the real Abbassi with his 21 piece. It’s unfortunate that both Joe’s didn’t have the best scoring night as they just couldn’t outscore the Sarajevo game in a nail biter game.

Week 8 4-4 8

Oh man oh man. 18-63 as team, 5-27 from 3, and only one player in double figures. That one player has to be Shiesty right? A wise man once said, a dead clock is right twice a day, and well the clock was dead, and Amman is heading in the wrong direction.

Week 7 4-3 7

Yes, I know they are 4-3, how could I possibly drop them to number 7. Well let us take a deep dive now, shall we. Losers of 3 of their last 4, they are essentially ahead of everyone they have beaten, other than a scorching hot Jeddah team and they lost to Kashgar, who are now ranked 6th. Pretty fair if you ask me. Mr. Shiesty with an uncharacteristic 5-16 shooting. Props to Kashgar for limiting JoJo and I am not taking away anything from them, but I believe he is too skilled to not be a presence in a matchup like this. Nonetheless Amman has the pieces of a contender.

Week 6 4-2 4

Quiet game from the Shiesty but his guys brought the clamps for this one. They held Istanbul to 38 points and limited their top guns. We may need to send out a search party for JoJo as the man has been missing over the past few weeks. Not sure what incentive Amman will reward but at this rate, but Mr. Shiesty can’t do it solo. I do believe with Joey^2 they can compete with any team in the league and based on their track record, they are built for the marathon.

Week 5 3-2 4

Losers of two in a row after a quick 3-0 start, Amman has some issues to address. For starters. Shiesty, Jojo and Fursan took 47 of the team’s 66 shots, and teams are beginning to double Capone every chance they get. I would like to see Amir Abbassi more involved as they young buck can certainly shoot the basketball and put some pressure on opposing defenses. Another player that needs to be more involved is Omar Khalaf. The dude is a man amongst boys and needs to assert his dominance, whether that is defensively or on the boards.

Week 4 3-1 3

Oh no Mr. Shiesty. 7-14 is 50% yet, Joey has spoiled us over the years, and we have come to expect 20 ppg on a weekly basis. Nonetheless Capone had his hands full with Riyadh’s team defense and pressure. The big three of Capone, Jojo and Fursan shot 17-41, and with them being the primary scorers, I am sure they would like that percentage a little over 50%. Again, they went up against a great squad and one that will be competing for the chip. Amman is still a contender, and this is just a small bump.

Week 3 3-0 2

I can assure you all Ramzy has no regrets about his draft, and Joe Capone can only be described as an absolute phenom; 10-14 from the field, 5-6 from beyond, and this isn’t something uncommon. We do expect more from the likes of Jojo and Fursan moving forward, but this game was done almost 10 minutes in, so Capone himself was able to suffice. They remain undefeated and have beaten some good teams until this point, but they face two of the best in the next couple of weeks. Not that they haven’t proven themselves already, but through their next two games&

Week 2 2-0 2

Is there another SHIESTY in Amman?!?!?!? We are all familiar with Joey Capone but is JoJo up next??? 26 points with 7 boards on 67% from the field against what many anointed the best defensive team in the league. Speaking of the shiesty he decided a modest 15 points on 50% from the field would do the job. Fursan had another efficient night as he continues to prove to be a solid third option.

Week 1 1-0 2

Joey SHIESTY! The people’s champ balled out to start the season with a stat line worthy of POTW. 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Not to mention he guarded last season’s MVP all game. Quiet game from JoJo but it was nice to see Fursan get in on the action with 9 points. If JoJo repeats last season’s averages with Fursan giving them anywhere from 9-15 on a consistent basis, this team will be tough to defend.

Preseason 0-0 4

What’s better than one Joey C? Two Joey C’s! Joey Capone and JoJo are going to cause havoc for opposing defenses and are virtually guaranteed 40 points between the two of them. If this team can muster up contributions from Fursan, Amir and Ramzy on a consistent basis, they should be extremely successful.
