Week 8 4-4 6

The climbers over the last two weeks, Yazur seems to have figured out their identity. Alaa, Hicham, and Marawan have been stepping up in their roles. They’ll definitely be tested this next week against Bir Seb’a.

Week 6 2-4 11

I’m starting to really be impressed with these JC boys, putting up really hard fought games against Ramla and now Tubas. Hicham (9pts) had massive points and Alaa (8pts) tied the game late. I like how they’ve been using Marawan (18pts, 13reb) more, and his pick and rolls are borderline unstoppable. This is a dark horse squad going forward.

Week 5 2-3 12

To be fair, I had zero faith in Yazur going up against Ramla, so props to them for the fight they gave. Yazur is easily one of the most talented teams out here, and they’re slowly starting to act like it.

Week 4 2-2 13

Sure, they beat a bad team, but there’s pros to this game. They finally used Marwan, who had 16 points. Hicham (12pts, 4-6) didn’t repeat last weeks performance, which is a good thing. Better to get a win right now before they face Ramla.

Week 3 1-2 13

Like I said last week, players on this team don’t know their strength or weakness’. I get shooting the ball is fun and all, but 5-23? Shooting practice is during the week, not game day. Looks like they’re reverting back to their Winter MB ways, a season they went 0-7. If this team wants to get serious, they’ll need to start using their big man more effectively.

Week 2 1-1 12

They had a great win last game to start their Central MB careers, but it seems like they’ve crashed back down to earth. Marawan led the team with 10 points and 9 rebounds, and towers over most players on the court. Which begs the question, why not play through him? One player shooting 4-14, and two shooting 2-10 won’t win you any games. It seems like the players on this team don’t know their own strengths and weakness’.

Week 1 1-0 8

The Jersey City boys are coming from North MB with a winless Winter campaign under their belt, and hey, they left the courts with their first ever dub. Marawan is an absolute unit on the courts, getting rebounds with ease and finishing with a double-double (16pts, 14reb). With him is Alaa Belhadj (13pts, 5stl) who’s a shifty PG. Gotta clean up the shots tho, 5-21 isn’t gonna cut it against better squads. They also need to learn to close games out better going forward.
