New Jersey (Central): Isdud (D2)
Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 8 | 5-3 | 7 | This is still a great team, and were taken to the absolute limits to lose in OT. Anas has been playing like himself lately, and Mohamed Albana is elite as always. Ammar is missed—he spaces the floor good and Isdud’s offense is at a great point with him on the court. |
Week 6 | 4-2 | 3 | Continuing their climb up the ranks, Isdud is really getting behind Ammar (20pts, 9reb) being the main scorer on offense. Yea, their defense is a little sloppy at times, but when you see Ammar and Albana down low, you think twice before driving in. |
Week 5 | 3-2 | 4 | A good win for this Isdud team who continues to climb up the ranks. Ammar Saymeh (6pts, 11reb) and Mohamed Albana (12pts, 8reb) are a tough duo down low and are also valid scoring options. Anas Ani and Omar Abuattieh also scored in the double digits, and continue to remain consistent. |
Week 4 | 2-2 | 7 | I’ve been anticipating Ammar Saymeh’s season debut, and it didn’t disappoint whatsoever. 11 points and 21 boards? What a statement game. Not to mention Anas Ani scoring 21 points on 9-14 shooting. Mohamed Albana also had a nice game for himself, securing a double-double (10pts, 15reb). When the squads there, there aren’t many weakness’ on this team. I’m sure they’ll give Areeha a run for their money this week. |
Week 3 | 1-2 | 10 | A really tough outing when half the starters are missing. Mohamed Albana (28pts, 10reb) and Omar Abuattieh (23pts) can only do so much. This is a good team, and I’m waiting on Ammar to make his season debut. |
Week 2 | 1-1 | 6 | Isdud was short handed in this game, and you can’t do much when you let an opposing player drop 34 points on you. Leading the team was Mohamed Albana with 21 points and 12 boards. Not to mention a stellar day from Anas Ani with 19 points, 7 boards, and 7 assists. Once they get their pieces back, I’m sure it’ll be back to business as usual. |
Week 1 | 1-0 | 2 | Anas is running it back with his team from Winter. No Ammar Saymeh but they got a win against a strong Al-Bireh side. Mohamed Albana (22pts, 12reb) and Anas (17pts) led the game, not to mention a strong outing from Mohammad Turan, who put up a solid day himself. One question on everyone’s mind: have they fixed their chemistry issues that plagued them from last season? |
