Week 8 3-5 10

Loss to a good opponent, however, I feel there’s too much talent on this team for them to be 3-5. I think Joey def has to take more shots as role players on the team taking more shots than arguably their best player is not the recipe for success. Would like to see Anas also get more involved as a playmaker when the shots not quite going down. However, I’ve been saying this since the beginning of the season, and I don’t think it’s going to change now.

Week 7 3-4 10

Good W against an inferior opponent, Anas with 31 this week, really pushing the ball in transition. This isn’t a team I’d really want to play because of the backcourt, however, I feel like they let this game get a lot closer than it needed to be in crunch time. Nonetheless, got the W and should continue to roll the rest of the regular season.

Week 6 2-4 10

Much needed win for the squad and they got it. Still better than the record states in my opinion, but they finally got some contribution from some role players this week. Medo in double digits and khalied with 19 rebounds. Big win and looking to see the team get some more momentum off this win.

Week 5 1-4 12

I’m honestly disappointed in this team due to the losses they suffered thus far by a combined 4 pts in 3 games, I really thought this team was going to turn a corner with this game as a solid bounce back, however, I guess I was wrong. Haifa is too heavily reliant on their backcourt and it showed this week. They need other players to play with efficiency and pace if they want to get back on track with a W. They were also missing breakout star of last week Nabil, however, no excuse against a team down their 1st and 2nd rounders. Idk where they go from here, but they need to figure their identity out and fast.

Week 4 1-3 10

Great squad, really a good team that’s been dealt some bad luck, 3 combined losses by a total of four points. I’d love to see them close out a game strong, and really get a convincing win. Joey did his thing early on and showed why he was the fifth overall pick, Anas was also on fire early in the first half hitting 4 3s in a row. Nabil also went crazy and had probably his best game so far in MB. This  team has the pieces in place, however, I feel they have stretches where they don’t really play as a team, and resort to iso basketball. If they clean that up, and keep moving the ball around find

Week 3 1-2 7

Finally in the win column. Defense stepped up and they played with much more control early on. I didn’t get to watch much of this game, however, Anas had a 30 ball, not much else needs to be said. This team is much better than the record indicates, being that both their losses are by a combined 2 pts, and if they can continue to start off games strong with offensive and defensive consistency, they’ll be tough to stop.

Week 2 0-2 10

Offense wasn’t the issue, but they couldn’t string together two wins. Still a competitive team with high upside. I think that for them to be successful, they really need to stop digging themselves into holes early in games. Two weeks now they’ve almost completed comebacks from down double digits, if they can find early success they’ll be a problem.

Week 1 0-1 8

Good showing from the team as a whole, I feel for them to be successful they’re going to have to lock in on the defensive side of things, and will also need a 3rd option to emerge offensively.
