New Jersey (North): Bir Seb'a (D2)
Power Ranking By Week | |||
WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
---|---|---|---|
Week 8 | 7-1 | 2 | Great game for the squad against a tough opponent, showing that they have what it takes to beat the leagues best, looking to see their stars shine as they head into next week looking to clinch a bye week for the playoffs. |
Week 7 | 6-1 | 3 | Another W in the books against former teammate mahdy. Great game for Ahmad as he led the squad in scoring this week, if Ahmad can find consistency offensively, they’ll be really difficult to beat, because we know what Shahzaib and Omar bring to the table on both ends weekly, Ahmad is really the key for Bir Sebaa to continue to win games. Good W and rolling as we near the playoffs. |
Week 6 | 5-1 | 4 | Great bounce back against a solid opponent this week, if the squad continues to get contributions from their role players, they won’t lose another game this season. Omar had a great game again, and Shaz did his thing as well. 3 3s from Hamza and 2 from Malik will make this team impossible to beat on a consistent basis. A bit undersized but they make up for it with passion. |
Week 5 | 4-1 | 4 | I feel that this game was a case of 2 things. A bad matchup for an undersized squad, and inconsistency on the offensive end. We all know this team will continue to be elite on D just due to the players that spearhead the squad, and we saw it this week with them only allowing 45 points against a good team. When you have elite on ball defenders such as Ahmad and Omar, it’ll be tough to score any game, they’ve even got Shah locked in on the defensive end, 9 steals is crazy. But at the same time, 36 points is unacceptable. Omar didn’t play up to his standard and Malik, thank you for showing up this wee |
Week 4 | 4-0 | 1 | What a trade made by captain LeGM. A bit of a risky move letting go of two really solid players (who were playing great on the team) to go out and get more starpower in Mr Cologne himself, Shahzaib. I didn’t get to watch much of this game but from what I saw it was close in the first half, and they ran away with it in the 2nd half playing with pace and as a team. Special shoutouts to Ham, Yazan, and Malik all contributing, they’re gonna need consistency from their non star options in order to continue winning, which is what they’ve done so far. |
Week 3 | 3-0 | 4 | Handled a team they were expected to beat. Even more impressive considering Omar didn’t have the greatest game, and they were down a key piece in Ahmad C. This team is deep as we see other players in the starting 5 contribute greatly, as Hassan F hit 5 3s, and Islam continues to do his thing on both ends. |
Week 2 | 2-0 | 4 | Finally got to see them play, and it’s about what we expected. Omar and Islam leading the way with team chemistry, while Ahmad is the do it all player on both ends, for them to get higher on the PR, I’m looking for more consistency from Ahmad and from Hassan F. |
