New Jersey (Central): Haifa (D2)

| WEEK | RECORD | RANK | COMMENTS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week 6 | 2-4 | 10 | Iyaad (27pts) looks to be finding his footing again, but it doesn’t seem like the rest of the team is there with him just yet. Bilal Mughal finished with 10 points and 10 boards. |
| Week 5 | 2-3 | 10 | Husan Zakir led Haifa with 18 points, but something just isn’t meshing well on this team. Maybe it’s the attendance and how they haven’t had a full squad. Iyaad is one of the better players in MB, and at this point, I’d like to see him take over. I know he’s capable of it. |
| Week 4 | 2-2 | 8 | Leading this team was Iyaad (15pts) and Husan (11pts). I do think Iyaad is slowly finding his form again, and they can be the best team this season when they’re fully healthy. Haifa is a team that couldn’t find their rhythm this week, and they need to find it soon. I believe they will. Maybe if/when the Shaban’s return. |
| Week 2 | 1-1 | 6 | When you’re the team that forfeits, you take a hit. |
| Week 1 | 1-0 | 2 | Sami Shaban coaching this young squad to a win over another young team, not to mention finishing with 7 assists on the day. Kareem led this squad with 28pts, on 11-15 shooting while Iyaad looks like his old self right now, having 24pts. This was without Husan Zakir and Sabir, which should only elevate their squad more when they make their return. |
| Preseason | 0-0 | 3 | This is a loaded team, led by Iyaad and Husan Zakir. The interesting adds are Sami and Kareem Shaban. If they learn how to play with one another, this team can become problematic. If Iyaad comes back to form and Husan continues to improve, they’re definitely a chip favorite. |
